Whether you’re single and ready to to mingle (and/or watch Netflix with some takeout) or in a relationship, Valentine’s Day is always a good time to treat yourself to a little lovin’. Here’s my Valentine’s Day Gift Guide for everyone.
A classic black flat is a must-have for every wardrobe. The cute “Kiss, Kiss” detail on these make them a perfect little gift to yourself.
Kate Spade Emmie Flats, $288
*I was looking for a GIF of Samantha Jones saying “I’d like him to amuse my bouche” after she meets Smith Jerrod for the first time and I COULD NOT FIND ONE. If you can, please send my way.
FLOWERS: Flowers for Valentine’s Day. A bit cliché? Perhaps. Would I turn them down? Nope. The folks over at UrbanStems have created a Valentine Collection inspired by their favorite style icons and leading ladies. My favorite? The Grace.
ART: I love a good print and will make any excuse to add to my gallery wall, so I think something like this “You are so loved” print from Etsy is a really sweet gift. Is it technically for a nursery? Maybe. Would I hang it in my bedroom? Definitely.
FOOD: Bacon Me Crazy package from Mouth, $72
Pure decadence. Includes bacon toffee popcorn and a rich bacon mayo, savory bacon jam and salty sweet milk chocolate studded with bacon, among other goodies.
DRINKS: Drunk In Love goody bag from Mouth, $135
Packed with everything needed to make three swanky and bubbly cocktails: French 75, Violet Royal, Poppy Royal. Cheers!
MAKEUP: I recently wandered into Bluemercury with some time to kill and decided to get a mini pre-spring makeover. The makeup artist used Nars Audacious Lipstick in Anita on my lips and Nars Dual-Intensity Blush in Frenzy on my cheeks and eyes. I don’t normally take selfies, but I did after this because I was so impressed by what he did with just two products.
LINGERIE: I’m a big proponent of nice lingerie since I happen to own a lingerie company. This set from Triumph is perfect for Valentine’s Day – the wireless bra makes the fit easy for cups up to a full C and you can definitely get lots of use out of this set the rest of the year (unlike some V-Day lingerie out there…).
DIY: If you’re more of a do-it-yourselfer, create a fun(ny) card with PicCollage. With tons of Valentine’s backgrounds, stickers, and templates, creating a personalized card is easier than ever. Plus, you can easily print it directly from your phone.
