You know how the holiday pop-up markets in New York are awesome? You know how being cold sucks? Well the brains behind UrbanSpace (the guys who put on said holiday pop-up markets) must have thought the same thing, so they came up with a solution. Urban Space Meatpacking.
Located just off the Highline at West 13th, the food and retail market is open daily and offers an eclectic mix of shopping, art, and delicious treats. (OK, so this is basically just like Dekalb Market, which UrbanSpace also runs, but I haven’t been there so I’m going to pretend that it doesn’t exist.)
There’s tons of great jewelry from RIFLE + RADFORD, Andean Collection, and KiraKira by Suz Somersall, photography from Ciaran Tully, and handbags from Corrente. And then there’s the food. All I’m gonna say is Roberta’s, Red Hook Lobster Pound, Arancini Bros., and Momokuku Milk Bar.
